San Diego Prep Girls’ Basketball : Brunner’s 16 Points Lead Ramona Over Poway, 52-45

Forward Laurie Brunner scored 16 points Tuesday night to lead Ramona High School to a 52-45 nonleague girls’ basketball victory over host Poway.
Ramona (6-1) led, 14-4, after one quarter. But the Titans rallied in the second quarter, pulling to within 22-19 at halftime. In the third period, Ramona opened a 38-27 lead and coasted.
Center Rose Fallaw added 10 points for Ramona. Poway was led by Deanne Anastas, who scored 16.
