Inglewood Police Chief to Join Airport Security

Joseph T. Rouzan Jr., police chief and assistant city manager of Inglewood for 4 1/2 years, will retire and become a special consultant for the Los Angeles Department of Airports for security and management issues starting Jan. 10.
Rouzan, a veteran of more than 30 years in law enforcement, was police chief and city manager in Compton before taking over the Inglewood posts. Previously, he had worked for 21 years in the Los Angeles Police Department.
