Mark McGann’s portrayal of John Lennon was limited to chewing gum, smoking cigarettes and talking like Daffy Duck (for some inexplicable reason). If Lennon had been as stupid and wimpy as McGann played him, he never would have been the biggest mover and shaker in the music industry. This travesty reminded me why I never watch TV movies, and why I shouldn’t have watched this one either.
