Sophomore sprinter Roddie Haley of Arkansas ran a world-best time of 1:01.18 for the 500 meters in the Razorback Pentangular Indoor meet at Fayetteville, Ark. The previous mark was 1:01.24, set by Willie Caldwell at last year’s NCAA Indoor meet.
