Robbery on the Road

Reader Leo Wilder’s Jan. 19 letter, “Robbery on the Autostrada” between Naples and Salerno, was indeed a bad happening for him and his wife. But why did Wilder single out the Autostrada? We have but to look in our own neighborhoods where such vandalism exists every hour, every day. I would like to let the Leo Wilders of Sherman Oaks know that the Italian authorities are very cognizant of this appalling situation. Let’s clean our backyard first.
