Former Prostitute Files Civil Suit

A former prostitute who says a customer raped and sodomized her filed a civil suit against him last week in Pasadena Superior Court. Earlier, Pasadena Superior Court Judge Gilbert C. Alston had ruled that a crime had not been committed and called it a contractual dispute.
Rhonda DaCosta, who is serving a prison term for a probation violation, filed her assault and battery suit against Daniel Zabuski through feminist attorney Gloria Allred.
“Ms. DaCosta wishes to assert her rights because she wants other women to know they have rights even if they have engaged in prostitution, and that they can and will fight back,” Allred said.
