Blondie Leads the Cal Cup

Two Santa Cruz-70 sloops exchanged wins Saturday in California Yacht Club’s Cal Cup regatta being sailed in Santa Monica Bay off Marina del Rey.

Blondie, under charter to Pat Farrah of the Long Beach YC, moved into first place in the standings with a win in Race III. John Landon’s Kathmandu, San Diego YC, won Race IV and is in second place, one point behind Blondie.
