Bass Belts Two Homers to Lead a 7-4 Victory

TOKYO — Randy Bass, formerly with the Texas Rangers, hit two home runs, including a grand slam, and led the Hanshin Tigers to a 7-4 Japanese League baseball victory over the Yokohama Taiyo Whales Sunday.
Dick Davis, formerly with the Toronto Blue Jays, slugged a two-run home run, his 13th homer of the season, as the Kintetsu Buffaloes beat the Nankai Hawks, 4-2.
