FANTASTIC : KIROV BALLET

Bernheimer’s review of “Swan Lake” was one of the rudest I have ever read in all the years I have been attending cultural events.
He managed in five half columns to insult everything from the souvenir program to our President. Unfortunately for the American people, his repugnant review, which will undoubtedly be read by the Kirov Company, has managed to insult a very fine group of people which are part of a cultural exchange program.
Fortunately for us, the impressionist and post-impressionist paintings that are coming from Russia to the Los Angeles County Museum neither sing or dance, so the public will be spared his tasteless review.
