Don Strametz, track coach at Cal State Northridge, annouced that runner Craig Ingram of Moorpark College will attend Northridge in the fall.
Ingram, a standout at Granada Hills High, won the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the 1986 California Community College Championships. He has a personal best of 9:17.89 in the event.
Ingram is the third impressive athlete that Strametz has recruited this year. C.J. Fisher of Notre Dame and Noreen Flynn of Bell-Jeff have already signed letters of intent to play for Northridge. Fisher finished third in the State Meet in the 300-meter intermediate hurdles and has run 37.61 in the event. Flynn has a personal best of 5-7 in the high jump.
