Olympic champion and world record holder Edwin Moses will not compete in the 400-meter hurdles U.S. Track and Field Championships this weekend in Eugene, Ore.
Gordon Baskin, his business manager, said Moses left Sunday night for Finland where he will see a physical therapist about a lower back injury. He is scheduled to compete July 1 in Stockholm.
