Rock throwing, fistfights and gunfire erupted on picket lines at Weyerhaeuser Co. mills in Washington state as a strike by 7,500 union woodworkers’ entered its second week. A truck driver apparently threatened picketers and fired a handgun after his truck was pelted with eggs and rocks and his windshield was broken at the Aberdeen sawmill, Weyerhaeuser officials said. No one was hurt.
