Ryder’s board OKd an offer for Saunders System.

Ryder System said certain shareholders of Saunders, a Birmingham, Ala.-based trucking services firm, agreed to sell Ryder more than 50% of Saunders’ shares through a $12.50-per-share tender offer valued at more than $100 million. Ryder said the deal will enhance its highway transportation service operations.
