MANCHESTER, Conn. — That fleet-footed inmate who kept running for a foul ball during a prison softball game three weeks ago has finally been caught, police said today.
Joseph Lyman, 29, was arrested Thursday night after creating a disturbance at a fast-food restaurant. As he was being booked, police discovered he was the convicted burglar who never came back after being given permission to chase a foul ball into the woods at Montville Community Correctional Center on June 10.
