Texas Firm Purchases Healthcare of Tustin

Healthcare International Inc. of Austin, Tex., has purchased the land and buildings of Healthcare Medical Center, a 203-bed, medical-surgical hospital in Tustin. Healthcare had been leasing the hospital from Safecare Co. of Seattle.
As part of the purchase, Healthcare agreed to sell and lease back from Safecare the Bayview Psychiatric Clinic in Corpus Christi, Tex.
The value of the Tustin sale was not disclosed, but a Healthcare spokesman said the Tustin and Corpus Christi transactions totaled more than $10 million.
