U.S. Junior National Water Polo Team Wins

The U.S. men’s junior national water polo team won the Denmark Cup in a tournament that ended Sunday at Odense, Denmark.

The United States tied its last game, 7-7, with Denmark, but won the title by virtue of an overall goal differential. The U.S. junior team finished with a 5-0-1 record.

Orange County players on the team included Jason Belanger, Andrew Lawson, Jeff Oeding and Stephen Schroeder, all of Newport Beach.
