Just a note of congratulations on for the July 13 Letters Page.
For the last year, there has been a serious imbalance between vigor and vitriol in the contributions to this last, best hope of news and entertainment--the fan.
But July 13 was definitely Everyone Out of the Pool. And without sharing readers’ opinions about Johnny Carson and Times staffer Paul Rosenfield (I’m a fan of both), I found those opinions tart and more refreshing than those of yestermonth.
And special thanks to the Sinatra flack (Lee Solters), who pointed out that Frank’s security force is on hand to protect the public, too.
