Your article on Bush’s staff should be required reading for every sensitive American voter.
Even if it can’t be proved that George Bush delegated stupidity, he certainly should be held accountable for the unbelievable demands of his staff. It is tragic that our vice president projected such a bad image rather than that of a responsible American leader.
Perhaps this episode can have a positive impact after all. When someone asks, “What are George Bush’s chances for getting the Republican presidential nomination?” it can readily be answered, and I hope accurately, “His chances are as dead as the Dead Sea!”
