Huntington Beach Riot
The following is addressed to the “innocent” bystanders we have begun to hear from alleging police brutality during the riots at Huntington Beach.
Just in case you weren’t aware of it, you were one of the largest single contributors to the riot itself. Without your encouragement, the Neanderthals who burn police and lifeguard vehicles and destroy public property wouldn’t have been nearly as motivated in their performance.
However, if you must stand and applaud such acts, I suggest you be prepared to pay the price of admission. This includes, but is not limited to, the possibility of arrest as well as the chance of being on the wrong end of a police baton.
If the above alternatives are not attractive to you, then do yourself a favor--when the trouble starts, get the hell out of there.
We’d all be better off.
