A 26-year-old transient was killed Monday morning when he lost control of his motorcycle, crashed into a garage and was thrown to the pavement in an Oceanside alley, Oceanside police said.
Michael James Minick, 26, was driving in the west alley of the 400 block of South Tremont Street about 12:10 a.m. when he lost control of the motorcycle, the county coroner’s office said. He crashed into a garage and was thrown off the bike, police said.
Minick was pronounced dead at the scene of massive head injuries, the coroner’s office said.
