Michael D. Dingman resigned Tuesday as a director of Allied-Signal Inc., based in Morris Township, N.J.
Dingman, chairman and chief executive of La Jolla-based Henley Group, said he resigned to avoid conflicts that might arise as Allied-Signal and Henley start acquiring additional businesses. Henley was created earlier this year from 35 businesses spun off by Allied-Signal. Dingman served briefly as president of Allied-Signal and previously served as president of San Diego-based Signal Cos.
