A woman was stabbed to death Tuesday morning in front of a Clairemont condominium, San Diego police reported.
In response to a call from neighbors at 10:25 a.m., officers found the body of a woman in a courtyard in front of the condominium in the 2700 block of Ariane Drive. She had suffered multiple stab wounds.
Witnesses told investigators they saw a man in his mid-20s wearing a dark shirt running from the scene.
Police said the woman was preparing to move out of the condominium and that a moving crew was on the second floor when the attack took place. The movers heard screams but saw nothing.
The woman’s identity is being withheld pending notification of next-of-kin.
San Diego homicide detectives are investigating.
