Given the Reagan Administration’s anti-Kadafi disinformation campaign, one may be skeptical of the Administration’s denials of U.S. government support or involvement for the C-123 transport plane that was shot down by the Nicaraguan military.
The questions now become when will President Reagan send a letter to Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega assuring him that the captured American, Eugene Hasenfus, is not a CIA spy and for whom will Secretary of State George Shultz trade Hasenfus?
