This summer my fiancee and I took a cross-country driving vacation and were fortunate to spend a couple of days in Nashville enjoying the sights and, most definitely, the sounds. We were very impressed and pleased with Betty Hughes’s article of Sept. 28, which will hopefully lead others to discover the wonders of Music City, U.S.A.
We were particularly proud that she mentioned the various shows available at Opryland because we are both performers who specialize in that type of entertainment and because a close friend of ours was one of two stage managers who ran “I Hear America Singing” this summer.
Thanks for a great article covering Nashville, and the best of luck in future travels and articles.
