San Diego Gas & Electric on Monday reported a 2.3% increase in net income to $50.2 million and a 9.4% drop in revenues to $392.3 million for the third quarter ended Sept. 30. SDG&E; linked the revenue dip to falling gas and oil prices. Net income rose 12.9% to $162 million and revenues fell 4.6% to $1.2 billion for the nine-month period.
