3 Southern Section Semifinal Football Playoff Games on Tap in County Friday

Three of the four Southern Section semifinal football playoff games involving Orange County teams will be played in the county Friday night. All games start at 7:30.
El Toro (12-0), the Southern Conference’s top-seeded team, plays South Coast League rival Mission Viejo at Orange Coast College in one semifinal.
It will be the second meeting of the season between the teams. El Toro won the first, 38-14, Nov. 15.
Defending conference champion Santa Ana (11-1) is the only team playing out of the county. The Saints travel to Lynwood (8-3-1) in the other Southern Conference semifinal.
The conference championship is Dec. 13th in Anaheim Stadium.
In the Central Conference, Valencia (10-1-1) plays Sunny Hills (11-1) in Fullerton District Stadium in one semifinal. Sunny Hills upset defending conference champion Saddleback, 16-14, Friday.
Bolsa Grande (11-1) plays Anaheim (8-4) in Glover Stadium in the other semifinal.
The Central Conference championship is Dec. 12 in Anaheim Stadium.
