Orange County Community College Basketball : Ingram Leads Saddleback to 48-42 Win

Renney Ingram scored the last seven points for Saddleback College including a three-point shot to lead the Gauchos to a 48-42 victory over Santa Monica Monday night at Santa Ana.
Ingram’s three-pointer came with 54 seconds left and put Saddleback (13-3) ahead, 44-40. The 45-second clock had run down to three seconds when guard Tom Desino passed to Ingram who made the 25-foot shot.
Ingram also made four free throws in the last 50 seconds to finish with 14 points. Vincent Smalls led the Gauchos, who have 10 straight victories, with 21 points.
Saddleback plays Rancho Santiago tonight for the championship at 8.

Rancho Santiago 103, Skagit Valley 76--Sophomore Howard Cole scored 28 points for the Dons (14-3) who won their eighth in a row and scored more than 100 points for the eighth time this season.
Simon Thomas scored 18, Chris Jackson and Chris Jefferson 13 each for the Dons.
Fullerton 90, Los Angeles Trade Tech 54--Bill Buda scored 14 points and Alan Fraser 12 as the Hornets (11-5) advanced to the consolation championship today against San Bernardino Valley at 4 p.m.
