Four Brigham Young University football players charged with altering drug prescriptions for Percodan, a highly addictive pain-killer, were readmitted for the winter semester and placed on “strict probationary status,” a school spokesman said.
J.C. Von Colln, Trevor Molini, Ladd Akeo and Steve Sanders will be monitored by school officials for their “academic progress, citizenship, and in the case of those involved in (a drug treatment) program, medical progress,” the spokesman added.
