San Diego High School Basketball Roundup : Jeremiah, White Lead Christian Over Pt. Loma, 49-48

SAN DIEGO — Led by a pair of sophomores and a stingy defense, Christian High School might be poised to make a run at the City Central League championship.
The Patriots improved to 9-3 Thursday afternoon, coming from behind to win at Point Loma, 49-48.
The play of sophomores David Jeremiah and Darrell White helped Christian High battle back from an 18-11 deficit after one quarter. Jeremiah finished with 15 points and White had 10.
GIRLS Vista 59, Poway 43--Chris Enger scored 31 points to lead Vista to its second Palomar League victory in as many games over Poway on the road.
Crawford 71, Kearny 21--Karla Salmi scored 28 points and Crawford held Kearny to just five points in the second half.
