Fresno Leads Santa Barbara Golf Event; SDSU 16th

Fresno State holds a commanding 10-stroke lead over Houston Baptist after the second round Monday of the Pacific Coast Collegiate men’s golf tournament in the Sandpiper Golf Course at Santa Barbara.
Fresno State is paced by individual leader Kevin Sutherland’s four-under 140. Fresno State has a 36-hole total 571, and Houston Baptist is next with 581.
San Diego State is 16th and United States International University 20th in the 20-team, 54-hole tournament. Demetrio Carasco leads SDSU with a five-over 149.
