West Hollywood : Council Joins TWA Boycott

The City Council has joined the city of Santa Monica in a boycott against Trans World Airlines.
Contending that TWA Chairman Carl Icahn has engaged in discriminatory practices by demanding pay and benefit cuts from the Independent Federation of Flight Attendants, a predominately female union, the West Hollywood council has directed all city officials and employees to honor the boycott and refrain from flying on the airline.
