SCC Seeded No. 2 in NAIA Playoffs

Southern California College, which was co-champion in the Golden State Athletic Conference with Point Loma, is seeded second in the NAIA District III basketball playoffs that start Tuesday.
The Vanguards (21-7) play No. 7 West Coast Christian (16-13) at SCC at 7:30 p.m. in the first round. No. 1 Biola (26-1) plays No. 8 Christ College Irvine (13-16) at Biola.
No. 6 Fresno Pacific plays at No. 3 Point Loma, and No. 5 Azusa Pacific plays at No. 4 Westmont in other first-round games. The winners meet at Chapman College Saturday. The final is March 3 at Chapman.
