2 Held in Pornographic Showing on Chinese TV

BEIJING — Chinese police have arrested two men who accidentally broadcast an illegal pornographic videotape on state-run television in southern Guangdong province, the official China Daily newspaper reported Thursday.
Feng Boming, 32, and Qiu Chaoxiong, an acquaintance, thought the transmitter was turned off when they viewed “The Massage Girl” in an office of a local televsion station Feb. 6. But the transmitter was on, and more than 20 minutes of the film was broadcast on noontime television, the paper said. Pornographic films are banned in China.
