It’s About Time Hazzard Taught Sportsmanship
- Share via
When Walt Hazzard coached at Chapman College, his teams were noted for their opponent-taunting, brawling style. Based on recent accounts of UCLA games, things haven’t changed much. This type of coaching brings out the worst in egomaniacal children like Reggie Miller.
There is absolutely no place in college athletics for this type of immature poor sportsmanship. Guys like Hazzard and football coach Jimmy Johnson of Miami who teach this style just shouldn’t be coaching these kids.
