Investigators are seeking the public’s help in the arrest of a suspect involved in the kidnaping and assault of a 21-year-old woman last week, a police spokesman said Wednesday.
Officer Bob Gustafson said the suspect is white and about 18 years old, 6 feet tall and weighing 180 to 190 pounds. He has short brown hair and was last seen wearing a yellow T-shirt, blue jeans and high-top tennis shoes.
Gustafson said the man accosted the woman in the parking lot of a drug store in the 1500 block of East Katella Avenue the morning of April 6. The man then demanded that the woman drive him to The City shopping center in Orange.
When they arrived at the center, the man slashed the woman in the face and ran into the mall, Gustafson said.
Anyone with information about the suspect should call the Police Department at (714) 532-0253 or 532-0365, Gustafson said.
