Ronnie DeSillers, struggling to recover from a major infection and pneumonia after two liver transplants, was being prepared early today for a new transplant after a donor organ was located. The surgery at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh was expected to last 12 hours, said hospital spokeswoman Lynn McMahon. The donor was found for the 7-year-old boy just hours after he was placed on the waiting list for a third transplant.
