News Corp., the U.S. arm of Rupert Murdoch’s far-flung media empire, named five members to its board of directors, which is being expanded to 15. New board members are John D’Arcy, chairman and CEO of the company’s Herald & Weekly Times group; Barry Diller, chairman and chief executive of its Fox Inc. unit; Keith MacDonald, executive chairman of Queensland Press Ltd., which is 45% owned by News Corp.; Bill O’Neill, managing director for United Kingdom operations, and Marty Singerman, president of the News America Publishing unit.
