Grupe Elected Head of Urban Land Institute

Greenlaw (Fritz) Grupe Jr., chairman and chief executive of Stockton-based apartment builder the Grupe Co., has been elected president of the Urban Land Institute for a two-year term.
Grupe has been a member of the nonprofit educational and research organization since 1965. He is a past president of the Stockton Board of Realtors and the Stockton Chamber of Commerce, and is a member of the Board of Regents of the University of the Pacific.
