Marianna S. Smith was named executive director of the Manville Personal Injury Settlement Trust, Washington. The trust was established by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York to compensate victims of Manville-produced asbestos. Smith currently serves as executive director of the Assn. of Trial Lawyers of America.
