A convicted rapist and burglar fled from a South Lake Tahoe courtroom, outrunning deputies and slipping down a fire escape. Lindsey Horst, 35, a transient, made his break as deputies attempted to put him back in handcuffs. About 40 officers, assisted by dogs, were looking for the man.
