Danielle Scott Wins Sea View Tennis Title

Danielle Scott of Corona del Mar High School defeated teammate Robin Bain, 6-1, 7-5, to win the Sea View League individual girls’ tennis title Friday in the league championships at Corona del Mar.

Erin Hendricks and Dena Birch of Estancia were leading Karen Farquhar and Elena Birch, also of Estancia, 6-2, 1-6, 3-0, in the doubles final when it was called because of rain. There was no makeup date scheduled because the teams enter Southern Section team competition today.
