State Lottery Suggestions

Bob Taylor, director of public affairs for the California State Lottery, asks for player suggestions (Letters, Dec. 18). Here’s mine on the 6/49 game:
First, I would limit the top prize to $1 million. The $1 million would be paid in full after taxes.
Second, I would suggest that the 3 out of 6 would pay $25; 4 out of 6 would pay $200; 5 out of 6 would pay $2,000 dollars; 5 out of 6 (plus the bonus number) would pay $200,000.
