Hiker Discovers Bones in Tierrasanta

A skull and bones identified as human remains were found in a brushy area in Tierrasanta Sunday, police said.
The bones were found by a hiker Sunday afternoon about 200 yards from the north end of Santo Road, police said. Pending further tests, police officials said that they could not identify whether the bones are those of a man or woman and could not estimate how long ago the body decomposed.
