Olympic silver medalist Bruce Kimball outscored favorite Greg Louganis to win the Mission Bay 10-meter platform diving competition at Boca Raton, Fla.

Kimball, 24, of Ann Arbor, Mich., led throughout the 10-dive contest and totaled 616.95 points.

Louganis, 28, a two-time Olympic gold medalist, earned 592.05 points, and Scott Donie, 19, of Houston finished third with 543.30.

Wendy Wyland, 1984 Olympic platform bronze medalist, won the women’s competition with 404.05 points.
