Usiyan Scores Twice as Lazers Win, 7-3

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Thompson Usiyan scored two goals and added an assist Saturday night to pace the Lazers to a 7-3 Major Indoor Soccer League victory over the Kansas City Comets.
Usiyan set up Tom Hayes’ fourth goal of the season 1:16 into the game for a 1-0 lead. Usiyan’s goals put the Lazers ahead 3-1 and 5-3.
Kansas City tied the score, 3-3, on a pair of third-quarter goals by Jan Goossens before Cha Cha Namdar gave the Lazers the lead for good late in the period with his seventh goal of the season.
