Israel and Palestinians

In response to Daoud Kuttab’s article “Autonomy on the Rocks” (Op-Ed, Feb. 11) and to all Palestinians: Repeatedly, I hear your complaint: “Israel does not want to talk to the Palestine Liberation Organization, the only representative of the Palestinian people.” And why are the Israelis so terrible as to not do such a thing? (For the last time): Because it is in the PLO’s constitution as its ultimate goal, to annihilate Israel. Does one need to be a genius to see cause and effect here? The ball is in the Palestinian court.
