The press conference will be in the East Room at 5 p.m. PST. White House spokesman Marlin Fitzwater said Reagan will open the session with a prepared statement and then answer questions for 30 minutes. The session will take place a week before Reagan is due to travel to Brussels for a summit meeting of the heads of government of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.
