FIRST OFF . . .

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will kick off a five-night concert stand at the Los Angeles Sports Arena on April 22, Columbia Records announced Sunday. The other shows will be April 23, 25, 27 and 28. Ticket information is expected to be announced about 10 days before the first concert. Other Western dates on the tour--formally titled the “Tunnel of Love Express Tour”--will be April 20 at McNichols Arena in Denver; May 2 and 3 at the outdoor Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, Calif.; and May 5 and 6 at the Dome in Tacoma, Wash.
