Get Back, Ozymandias

As I read of Aaron Spelling’s ludicrous display of conspicuous consumption (his mansion) I asked where he got the money for it. From the networks and syndicators who show his programs, of course.
Where do they get the money to pay him? From sponsors, of course. And where do they get their money? From consumers who pay inflated prices for their products, thus creating the funds to give to Spelling so he can fund building his mansion.
Consequently, I’m going to avoid the products that sponsor Spelling’s programs and buy lower-priced brands whenever possible. After all, I never watch Spelling’s programs, so why should I support him whenever I pass through the checkout line?
