A 26-year-old Southeast San Diego man was arrested Monday night in connection with the sexual molestation of a 13-year-old girl, police said.
David Pineda, whose address was not given, had been one of the top 10 fugitives sought by the San Diego Police Department since November, Sgt. Dave Kelly said.
Pineda was arrested without incident at about 7 p.m. in the 4000 block of 44th Street after his car was pulled over by officers from the Special Investigations Division, Kelly said.
Pineda allegedly molested a teen-ager and threatened to kidnap her several times after that.
